La croisière metal 70000Tons Of Metal a décidé de retirer Vektor de son affiche 2023 (où on retrouve Kreator, God Dethroned, Amorphis, Cynic, Vreid, Visions Of Atlantis, ...). Même si le festival n'a pas donné d'explication le message laisse peu de doute sur les raisons, le leader de Vektor est en effet accusé de violence sur son ex-compagne (celle ci avait publié une vidéo d'un des incidents accompagné d'un texte l'accusant de violence répétés), David a répondu 3 ans plus tard dans une vidéo suite à l'annulation de leur signature sur Century Media.
Ye Banished Privateers a enregistré de nouvelles sessions pirate. On se calme les fans de Alestorm, il s'agit plus d'une musique traditionnelle qu'autre chose. Par ailleurs le groupe tournera avec Visions of Atlantis et Xandria notamment les 7 octobre au Backstage by the Mill à Paris et le lendemain au CCO de Lyon.

Visions Of Atlantis (Metal Symphonique) sortira cet automne son premier DVD/Blu-Ray live chez Napalm Records. A Symphonic Journey To Remember a été filmé lors de la performance du groupe au Bang Your Head!!! Festival 2019, accompagné du Bohemian Symphony Orchestra de Prague. Le premier extrait, "Heroes Of The Dawn", a été dévoilé jeudi dernier.

Le prochain disque de Visions Of Atlantis se nomme Wanderers et sortira le 30 août. Pour la petite histoire, le groupe autrichien est allé faire le shooting photo pour la promo de l'album en Bretagne, à Quiberon. Plus d'infos.

Il y a deux semaines nous évoquions la tournée de Týr (qui emmènent Heidevolk dans leurs valises), dont certaines dates sont compromises à cause de la participation du chanteur de Týr au "Grind", une massive et annuelle chasse à la baleine aux Iles Féroé d'où le groupe est originaire (détails et explications ici). Le concert prévu à Lyon le 15 avril, organisé par une équipe de vegans, sera... maintenu. Clémentine, l'une des têtes pensantes de l'association Sounds Like Hell (chanteuse de Visions Of Atlantis, et l'une des vegans en question responsable de l'organisation de cette date) a publié ici un communiqué qui explique cette prise de position. (Notez que l'orga prévoit de servir un repas vegan aux groupes de la soirée ainsi qu'à leurs équipes.)

Live-Report : MetalDays 2016, première partie ! Il était temps de vous parler de cette folle expérience que nous avons vécue en Slovénie cet été, de quoi certainement vous donner envie d'y aller en 2017 ! Et c'est à lire ici.
