Green Carnation prépare la sortie de son sixième album, Leaves of Yesteryear, avec la diffusion du titre éponyme. Le nouvel album sort le 8 mai prochain.

Après quatorze années de silence discographique, Green Carnation reviendra le 8 mai avec Leaves Of Yesteryear et ça sortira chez Season Of Mist. Voici la pochette et la tracklist. Il a été enregistré au Dub Studio à Oslo en compagnie d'Endre Kirkesola (Abbath, In Vain, Solefald).
Le Roadburn balance l'artwork de l'affiche de son édition 2016, et c’est plutôt réussi (cette typo !). La billetterie ouvrira le 2 octobre à 21h, et quelques groupes (en plus de Neurosis) ont été annoncés : Amenra, The Skull, Green Carnation, La Muerte, Of The Wand And The Moon, Der Blutharsch And The Infinite Church Of The Leading Hand, Lychgate et Chaos Echoes. Chronique Rétro avec Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness par Green Carnation :"Light of Day, Day of Darkness. Pièce maîtresse, intemporelle. Composée entièrement par le Sieur Tchort, musicien aguerri et respecté dans les milieux Metal et en Norvège, ayant participé à des méfaits comme Emperor et Carpathian Forest. Tristania a officiellement intégré Kjetil Nordhus (ex-Green Carnation) au poste de chanteur. Le musicien tenait déjà le micro temporairement depuis le départ de Bergøy l'été dernier. Rubicon sortira à la fin du mois en France.

Kjetil Nordhus travaille actuellement sur un album solo. Pour rappel, il était, passé un temps, le chanteur de Green Carnation, qui a splitté l'an dernier et qui, s'il n'est pas officiellement mort, ne donnera en tout cas plus jamais de concerts après une tournée US désastreuse.
