Bilan 2006

Traditionnellement, la nouvelle année s'accompagne de résolutions, d'engagements (plus ou moins) porteurs proclamés alors que le regard se braque désormais sur l'écran de fumée à densité individuelle variable que constituent les 365 jours à venir. Mais c'est aussi, haut les coeurs!, l'heure du Bilan généralisé sur ce que tout un chacun a pu apporter ou laisser de marquant/déterminant au cours de l'année écoulée. Et dans le domaine particulier qui nous réunit ici, sur Metalorgie, on peut dire que 2006 entrera dans les annales, aussi bien d'un point de vue quantitatif que qualitatif. On peut naturellement observer en premier lieu le retour discographique simultané et spectaculaire de la plupart des poids lourds des différents styles, mais 2006 fut par ailleurs le témoin des montées en puissance (notamment des scènes françaises dites extrêmes), des confirmations, des maturités acquises, et de l'éclosion de nombreuses jeunes pousses prometteuses. Fort heureusement, tout cela n'a pas purgé la polémique autour de certaines sorties relativement attendues, constituant ainsi le piment dont le débat a intrinsèquement besoin.
Pour Metalorgie, 2006 a également confirmé la confiance dont vous faites preuve à l'égard du site, puisque vous êtes de plus en plus nombreux à venir et toute l'équipe vous en remercie grandement. Celle-ci s'est encore renforcée cette année pour élargir au mieux le panel des styles abordés (et donc le contenu du site par répercussion), démarche qui a par ailleurs été officialisée avec l'instauration de chroniques occasionnelles "open style" le samedi. On espère que 2007 sera placé sous le signe de la continuité sur ce point, afin de faire grimper le nombre de news, de chroniques ou encore de pages de groupes enregistrées dans la base de données.
Après une année musicale si intense, la tendance serait donc plutôt à la nostalgie et au pessimisme pour l'année qui vient. Néanmoins, au vu des annonces de sorties connues à ce jour, on ferait bien de ne pas enterrer 2007 trop vite. Mais avant d'entrer de pleins pieds dans cette nouvelle année, laissons plutôt place aux sélections (aussi complète que possible avec la profusion de disques!) de la team Metalorgie.
